Casa de Mariposa focuses its efforts in addressing the needs of pregnant women in unintended situations such as i.e., previous drug use, rape, abusive relationships, low self esteem, unemployment, limited education, poor/no support network who have made a decision to keep their unborn child and indicate a genuine desire to have a life-changing experience.
We serve mothers from all walks of life. This includes, mothers escaping domestic violence, homelessness, foster care, failed marriages, drug and alcohol addictions, mothers who have lost children to CYFD, or who are on probation. Some have been reunited with children that they had lost to CYFD.
All pregnant women are eligible to apply to Casa de Mariposa regardless of race, religion, or national origin. Each woman’s individual situation is evaluated to determine if they meet the criteria for participation. Criteria for participation will include some of the following:

Their ages have ranged from 18 to 42 years old. We minister the love of Christ to each of these women.
Some have been baptized, some obtained GED’s, vehicles, housing, jobs.
Providing counseling and discipleship to these women has assisted in restoring relationships with family members.
